Managing Your Billing


Your billing dashboard shows your current plan, included features and quotas, payment information, and invoices. Upgrade or downgrade anytime, update payment methods, and view all the features and limits included with your subscription.

📋 Prerequisites:


  • Active fivebucks.ai account (Trial or paid)
  • Payment method on file (for paid plans)
  • Access to email for invoices and receipts


Step 1: Navigate to Your Billing Dashboard


From any page, click "Settings" in the sidebar, then select the "Billing" tab. You'll see your complete billing overview.

The dashboard shows:


  • Current Plan: Your subscription tier (Free Trial, Basic, Professional, or Enterprise)
  • Billing Cycle: When your current period started and ends
  • Plan Features & Quotas: All features and quota limits included in your plan
  • Payment Method: Your card details on file
  • Invoice History: Download past invoices


Step 2: Understanding Your Free Trial


New accounts get a 14-day free trial with access to Basic plan features. During the trial:


  • Generate up to 30 articles
  • 30 SEO research credits
  • 5 integrations (Wix, WordPress, Blogger, Email)
  • Invite up to 2 team members
  • Create up to 2 projects
  • 1 GB storage
  • 5 site diagnostics
  • 5 traffic monitoring reports

You can convert to a paid plan anytime during the trial. Click "Convert to [Plan]" to upgrade immediately.


ℹ️ NOTE: Your trial ends automatically after 14 days. If you haven't added a payment method, you'll need to choose a paid plan to continue using the service.


Step 3: Upgrade or Switch Your Plan


Ready to upgrade? Click "Switch Plan" in the "Manage Your Plan" card to see available options.

Available plans:


Basic Plan


  • 30 articles per month
  • 30 SEO research credits
  • 5 integrations (Wix, WordPress, Blogger, Email)
  • 2 team members
  • 2 projects


Professional Plan


  • 150 articles per month
  • 150 SEO research credits
  • 8 integrations (Wix, WordPress, Blogger, LinkedIn, Twitter, Shopify, Email)
  • 10 team members
  • 10 projects


Enterprise Plan


  • 300 articles per month
  • 300 SEO research credits
  • 10 integrations (Wix, WordPress, Ghost, Blogger, LinkedIn, Twitter, Zapier, Shopify, Email)
  • 25 team members
  • 20 projects


💡 PRO TIP: Save up to 20% by choosing annual billing. Pricing varies by currency and is displayed in your local currency when you view the plan options.


Step 4: View Your Plan Features & Quotas


Your billing dashboard displays all the features and quotas included in your current plan. This helps you understand what's available with your subscription.

Plan information includes:


  • Content Generation Quota: Number of articles you can generate per month
  • SEO Research Credits: Keyword research and SERP analysis credits included
  • Available Integrations: Platforms you can connect (WordPress, Wix, social media, etc.)
  • Project Limits: Number of projects you can create
  • Team Member Limits: Number of collaborators you can invite
  • Storage Limits: File storage capacity included
  • Other Features: Additional capabilities like site diagnostics, traffic monitoring, etc.


ℹ️ NOTE: Quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused quotas don't roll over to the next month.


Step 5: Update Your Payment Method


Need to change your credit card or billing address? Click "Update Payment" in the "Payment Method" card.

You'll be redirected to Stripe's secure payment portal where you can:


  • Add a new credit or debit card
  • Update existing card information
  • Change billing address
  • Set a default payment method


💡 PRO TIP: We use Stripe for secure payment processing. Your card details are never stored on our servers—they're encrypted and stored by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.


Step 6: View and Download Invoices


Need receipts for accounting? Click "View Invoices" to see all your past payments.

For each invoice, you can:


  • Download PDF: Professional invoice for your records
  • View Online: See invoice details in your browser
  • Check Status: See if payment succeeded or failed


ℹ️ NOTE: Invoices are generated automatically when your subscription renews or when you make one-time purchases (like add-on quotas). You'll also receive invoices by email.


Step 7: Purchase Add-On Quotas


Running low on article credits or SEO research? Purchase add-on quotas without upgrading your plan. Add-ons are one-time purchases that never expire.

Available add-ons:


  • Article Packs: 10, 25, or 50 additional articles
  • SEO Research Credits: Additional keyword research and SERP analysis
  • Site Audit Credits: Extra competitor analysis audits


💡 PRO TIP: Add-ons are cheaper than upgrading if you only need extra capacity occasionally. They're perfect for seasonal businesses or one-off campaigns.


Step 8: Cancel or Pause Your Subscription


Need to cancel? We're sorry to see you go. Click "Cancel Plan" in the "Cancel Your Plan" card.

Cancellation options:


  • Cancel at Period End: Keep access until your current billing cycle ends (recommended)
  • Cancel Immediately: Lose access right away (no refund for unused time)


ℹ️ NOTE: If you cancel during a free trial, you lose access immediately and won't be charged. If you cancel a paid plan, you keep access until the end of your billing period—we don't offer prorated refunds.


Your content and data are never deleted when you cancel. If you reactivate later, everything will be exactly as you left it.
