Create strategic content schedules with AI-powered article briefs that guide your publishing strategy.
What is Content Planning?
Content Planning turns your keyword research into a strategic publishing schedule. Our AI analyzes your SERP research and creates detailed content briefs for each article, complete with titles, outlines, target keywords, and publishing dates.

📋 Prerequisites:
- Completed SERP Analysis for at least one topic cluster
- At least 1 content generation credit in your quota
- Selected topic cluster ready for content planning
Step 1: Start from Your SERP Analysis
Content plans are created from your SERP Analysis results. Navigate to "SEO & AI Research" in the sidebar, then click on "SERP & AI Search Analysis".

Find the topic cluster you want to create content for and click on it to view the detailed analysis. and then click on "Plan Content".
Step 2: Review Analysis and Click Create Plan
Once you're viewing a SERP Analysis, review the insights about what currently ranks for your keywords. When you're ready to create content, click the "Plan Content" button.

ℹ️ NOTE: The Create Content Plan button appears at the top of your SERP Analysis results, near the analysis summary cards.
Step 3: Configure Your Publishing Schedule
A dialog will open asking you to configure your content schedule:
Topic Name
Pre-filled with your topic cluster name. You can edit this if needed.
Start Date
Choose when you want to start publishing content. Articles will be scheduled from this date forward.
Publishing Frequency
Choose how often to publish:
- Daily: Publish articles every day
- Weekly: Choose specific day(s) of the week and interval (every 1, 2, or 3 weeks)
- Monthly: Choose specific week and day of the month (e.g., "First Monday")

💡 PRO TIP: For most businesses, weekly publishing (every 1-2 weeks) provides a sustainable content schedule that Google and readers appreciate. Daily posting requires significant content resources.
After configuring your schedule, click "Create Plan". The system will start generating your content plan in the background.
Step 4: Watch AI Create Your Content Briefs

Analyzing Competition
Reviews top-ranking articles to understand what content performs well for your keywords.
Assigning Keywords
Distributes your researched keywords across articles, ensuring each piece targets the right terms.
Creating Outlines
Generates detailed article outlines with recommended headings based on what ranks well.
Setting Optimization Parameters
Configures word counts, tone, reading level, and SEO settings for each article.

ℹ️ NOTE: You can close the dialog or navigate away during processing - your plan will continue being created in the background. You'll see it appear in your content list when complete.
Step 5: Review Your Content Briefs
Once complete, you'll see all your scheduled articles in the Content Generation page. Each row represents one article with its content brief:
What Each Brief Contains:
- Title: AI-suggested article title based on target keywords
- Target Keywords: Primary and secondary keywords assigned to this article
- Article Outline: Suggested heading structure with subtopics to cover
- Content Recommendations: Word count, tone, reading level, point of view
- SEO Settings: URL slug, target country, language
- Scheduled Date: When this article should be published
- Content Gaps: Topics your competitors haven't covered well
- Link Strategy: Internal and external linking opportunities

💡 PRO TIP: Content briefs are like instructions for the AI. The more detailed the brief, the better your generated articles will be. Review and edit briefs before generating articles.
Step 6: Edit Content Briefs (Optional)
You can edit any content brief before generating the article. Click the "Edit" button on any scheduled article to customize:
Content Tab
- Article title and keywords
- Article type (how-to, listicle, guide, etc.)
- Tone and point of view
- Content outline and headings
Links Tab
- Internal linking opportunities
- External sources to reference
- Link strategy recommendations
UX Tab
- Target word count
- Number of images to include
- YouTube video embeds
SEO Tab
- URL slug
- Target country and language
- AI model to use

ℹ️ NOTE: Changes to content briefs are saved automatically. These settings guide the AI when generating your article, so adjust them to match your brand voice and SEO strategy.
Step 7: View Your Publishing Calendar
Navigate to "Scheduled Posts" in the sidebar to see all your content on a calendar. This view helps you visualize your publishing schedule:
- Day View: See all articles scheduled for a specific day
- Week View: View your entire week's content at a glance
- Month View: See your full month's publishing schedule

💡 PRO TIP: You can drag and drop articles to reschedule them in the calendar view. This makes it easy to adjust your publishing dates if needed.
